TazbH4 is a yellow dyestuff that is used as a reactive dye in the textile industry. It can be used to dye cotton, wool, and polyester fabrics. TazbH4 has high adsorption properties and can be used for the removal of d-glucose from aqueous solutions. TazbH4 is also an excellent reducing agent, which makes it useful for reductive coupling reactions. The synthesis of TazbH4 requires an autoclave and is not scalable.
