Beschreibung

Olodandrin is a molecule that is used in the treatment of skin cancer. It is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist and blocks the effects of angiotensin II, which regulates blood pressure and water balance. Olodandrin has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and may be useful for treating diabetic neuropathy. Olodandrin has been shown to be effective in animal models of neuropathic pain. This drug repositions drugs originally approved for other indications for the treatment of neuropathic pain by blocking angiotensin receptors.
