Beschreibung:
(R)-1,1-Bis(p-methoxyphenyl)-2-isopropylethane-1,2-diamine is an osmium complex that is used to isolate osmium and other metals. The ligand has been shown to have a chiral center in the ethylenediamine group. (R)-1,1-Bis(p-methoxyphenyl)-2-isopropylethane-1,2-diamine also has a chiral center in the ligand. This complex was studied using x-ray diffraction and x-ray diffraction studies. The ligand was found to be very stable under these conditions and showed no evidence of decomposition for up to two hours.
