6-Iodoimidazo[1,2-b]pyridazine is a potent inhibitor of choline uptake and platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) receptor signaling. 6-Iodoimidazo[1,2-b]pyridazine has been shown to inhibit the PDGF receptor by cross-coupling with the tyrosine kinase domain. This inhibition leads to reduced activity of the PDGF receptor and decreased cellular proliferation. 6-Iodoimidazo[1,2-b]pyridazine may be useful for treating cancer due to its selectivity for factor receptors that are not present in normal cells.
