Beschreibung

Sodium taurocholate is a bile salt that plays an important role in the digestion and absorption of dietary fats. It has been shown to activate protein kinase pathways in human cell lines, which may be beneficial for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. Sodium taurocholate has also been used as a carrier for nanoparticles delivering active agents to target cells. In addition, it has been shown to inhibit the replication of influenza virus in vitro. Some studies suggest that sodium taurocholate may have potential therapeutic applications for Alzheimer's disease due to its ability to modulate protein kinases.
