Beschreibung

Silane, ethoxydimethyl[3-(oxiranylmethoxy)propyl]- is a silicone polymer that is used in the preparation of polysiloxanes by hydrolysis and condensation reactions. Silane, ethoxydimethyl[3-(oxiranylmethoxy)propyl]- has shown anti-cancer properties in vitro and in vivo. The mechanism of action of this compound is not entirely clear but may be related to its ability to form a monolayer on the surface of cells. This monolayer alters the microenvironment around the cell and can lead to cell death.
