Beschreibung

S-Acm-ß-Mercaptopropionic Acid is a selective activator of the human K+ channel KCNQ2/KCNQ3. It is a potent inhibitor of the hERG potassium channel. S-Acm-ß-Mercaptopropionic Acid is a ligand that binds to and activates KCNQ2 and KCNQ3 channels in heart muscle cells. It has shown to be an antibody for the study of ion channels, as well as other receptors and cell biology. This molecule has been used as a research tool for studying protein interactions and pharmacology.
