• Beschreibung: Isazophos is a nematicide that disrupts the membrane of the nematode, leading to paralysis and death. It is used to control soil-borne plant pathogens such as root-knot nematodes and other soil-dwelling pests. Isazophos binds to the aryl halides in the cell membrane, disrupting ion channels and causing cell death. Isazophos has been shown to be effective against cervical cancer cells in a high-sensitivity c-reactive protein model system. It has also been shown to inhibit hepatitis C virus (HCV) replication in an in vitro model system.
