Beschreibung

Fenpicoxamid-phenol is a synthetic compound that belongs to the class of antibiotics and antiparasitic agents. It has been shown to have antiviral, antimicrobial, and antiparasitic properties. Fenpicoxamid-phenol has been shown to be active against bacteria, fungi, and viruses. The compound is a strong inhibitor of the bacterial enzyme DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV and also inhibits the synthesis of RNA. Fenpicoxamid-phenol is effective against Gram-positive bacteria such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is also active against HIV in vitro.
