Beschreibung:Mavacamten is a molecule that stabilizes myosin and has a cardioprotective effect. It inhibits the progression of cardiomyopathy by increasing the synthesis of cardiomyocyte proteins, including the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). Mavacamten is also able to inhibit the filamentous actin in cardiac muscle cells, which may be related to its pharmacological treatment. Mavacamten can inhibit the caco-2 cell growth and induce apoptosis, but it does not have an inhibitory effect on cellular metabolism or on biochemical reactions.
