Beschreibung:CP 31398 is a monoclonal antibody that targets the protein CDK4. It inhibits cell growth and induces autophagy, which is a process of breaking down and recycling cellular components. CP 31398 has been shown to inhibit tumor progression in animal models of breast cancer and melanoma by stabilizing the microenvironment and disrupting the interaction between cancer cells and their supporting cells. The drug also reduces chemoresistance in human ovarian cancer cells. CP 31398 has no effect on normal tissues or cell lines, but does show dose-dependent inhibition of cell growth in tissues and reduction in DNA synthesis rates in some cell lines.
