Beschreibung:
Fmoc-2,4-dimethyl-D-phenylalanine is an antibacterial agent that belongs to the group of phenylalanine derivatives. It has potent antibacterial activity against mycobacterium avium and other bacterial species. Fmoc-2,4-dimethyl-D-phenylalanine inhibits the synthesis of messenger RNA (mRNA) and protein by inhibiting the bacterial ribosome. It also has antiinflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit toll-like receptor signaling. This drug can be used for treatment of infectious diseases such as tuberculosis and cancer. Fmoc-2,4-dimethyl-D-phenylalanine also has been shown to act as a potent inhibitor of E3 ubiquitin ligases, which are involved in tumor suppression and cell growth.
