Produktinformation
- [Chloro(Phenyl)Methylidene]Propanedinitrile
Alpha-chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile (ACBN) is a nitrile with optical properties that make it an excellent candidate for use as a fluorescent resonance energy transfer (FRET) donor. ACBN has been used to study the virus herpes simplex virus and was found to be an effective inhibitor of this virus. It has also been shown to inhibit lymphocytic leukemia cells in the presence of other cancer drugs, such as 5-fluorouracil and mitomycin C.
