Beschreibung

Allyl cyclohexyloxyacetate is a molecule that is an ester of glycol ethers and aliphatic carboxylic acids. It has been used as an organic solvent, an acid catalyst in the manufacture of ester compounds, a deodorizing agent, or as a perfume ingredient. Allyl cyclohexyloxyacetate has shown to be effective at removing odors from fatty acids and particles. The molecule binds to odorant receptors in the nasal cavity, which triggers the sensation of smell when it comes into contact with odorants. Allyl cyclohexyloxyacetate also inhibits metal ion-catalyzed oxidation reactions.
