- PYD-2Cz
2,6-Bis(9H-carbazol-9-yl)pyridine is a ligand with the chemical formula C12H8N2. This ligand is often used as a light emission agent in organic semiconductors and has been shown to have a variety of functional groups. 2,6-Bis(9H-carbazol-9-yl)pyridine is synthesized by reacting picolinic acid with 3,4,5,6-tetrahydrobenzo[b]thiophene in the presence of triethylamine. It has low efficiency for light emission and thermally stable. 2,6-Bis(9H-carbazol-9-yl)pyridine has been used as an anion receptor in the processable self assembled monolayers (SAMs).
