Produktinformation
Bisubstrate inhibitor 78 is a high-purity, potent, and selective bisubstrate inhibitor. It inhibits the ATP-dependent release of intracellular calcium. Bisubstrate inhibitor 78 is a research tool for studying protein interactions and for understanding mechanisms of signal transduction. It is also used as an experimental drug in pharmacology to study the effects on ion channels and receptors.
Bisubstrate inhibitor 78 has been shown to inhibit the activity of two different types of ion channels: voltage-gated sodium channels and ligand-gated potassium channels. In vitro studies with bisubstrate inhibitor 78 have demonstrated that it inhibits the function of these ion channels without affecting their open probability or conductance.
Fluorescent studies with bisubstrate inhibitor 78 have revealed that it can inhibit ligand binding to GABAA receptors by preventing access of ligands like GABA, baclofen, or muscimol to the receptor site. These results suggest that bisub
