Beschreibung

Exemestane is a drug used to treat breast cancer. It is a synthetic steroid that acts as an aromatase inhibitor. It works by blocking the production of estrogen in the body, which helps to reduce the growth of some types of breast cancer cells. Exemestane is also used to help prevent the development of breast cancer in high-risk women who have been treated with tamoxifen for five years or more. Exemestane Related Compound A (ERCA) is a side product that can be found in exemestane preparations.
