Beschreibung

3-Indolepropionyl-coa is a potent inhibitor of cancer cell cycle and has been found to induce apoptosis in human cancer cells. This compound is an analog of the naturally occurring urinary metabolite, indole-3-acetic acid, which has been shown to have anticancer properties. 3-Indolepropionyl-coa is a promising medicinal compound for the development of novel anticancer drugs due to its ability to inhibit protein kinase activity in Chinese hamster ovary cells. It has also been reported to inhibit tumor growth and proliferation by blocking the production of cyclin-dependent kinases, which are essential for cell division.
