Beschreibung:SSR 69071 is a small-molecule inhibitor of the serine protease activated by covalent binding. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of the enzyme in vitro and in vivo, and is able to inhibit growth factor-induced proliferation in cells. SSR 69071 has also been shown to be effective against diabetic neuropathy and cardiac infarction, as well as other inflammatory diseases. The exact mechanism of action is not yet known, but it may be due to its ability to inhibit peptidases, which are enzymes that break down proteins into smaller peptides. SSR 69071 also inhibits reactive oxygen species (ROS), which are molecules that can cause oxidative stress and damage cells. The inhibition of ROS may be responsible for some of the drug’s anti-inflammatory effects.
