Beschreibung

3-(Dimethylamino)propyl methacrylate is a monomer that belongs to the group of acid compounds. 3-(Dimethylamino)propyl methacrylate has been shown to be hydrolytically stable and can be used in the production of acid-sensitive monomers. This compound has also been shown to be a potentiometric sensor for ionic liquids, which are organic compounds with an acidic or alkaline nature. The fluorescence properties of this compound have been used to monitor the progress of polymerization reactions, using parameters such as the intensity and duration of the fluorescence peak. 3-(Dimethylamino)propyl methacrylate is often used in polymerization reactions because it is soluble in polar solvents such as isobutyrate.
