Beschreibung:
Ethyl 3-oxopiperidine-4-carboxylate is a potent and selective DPP-4 inhibitor. It binds to the active site of DPP-4 and inhibits its activity, which leads to increased levels of circulating GLP-1. This compound has been shown to be more potent than other analogues in inhibiting DPP-4, with an IC50 value of 1.2 ± 0.2 μM. The compound also shows high specificity for DPP-4, with no inhibition against other serine proteases (e.g., trypsin) at concentrations up to 10μM.
