Beschreibung

Yadanziolide C is a natural product with inhibitory activities against leukemia cells. It has been shown to have an anti-tumor effect in vitro and in vivo. Yadanziolide C induces apoptosis and inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells by inhibiting protein synthesis, inducing cell cycle arrest, or inducing cell differentiation. The hypoglycemic effect of yadanziolide C may be due to its ability to inhibit glucose uptake and/or stimulate insulin secretion from the pancreas, or alternatively through its inhibition of gluconeogenic enzymes in the liver. The antitumor mechanisms of yadanziolide C are not well understood, but it has been shown to induce apoptosis, inhibit cell proliferation and reduce tumor size in mice. Yadanziolide C has also been shown to have significant inhibitory activity against cancer cells, including leukemia cells and breast cancer cells.
