Beschreibung:
N-[3,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-N'-[(1R,2R)-2-(1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl)cyclohexyl]thiourea is a bifunctional compound that has been shown to have anti-bacterial properties. The best known application of this compound is as a wastewater treatment agent. It can also be used for the removal of chloroacetyl from wastewater effluent. This compound is an aliphatic electrophilic reagent that reacts with chloride ions to produce reactive chlorine species, which are responsible for the degradation of organic compounds in wastewater.
