Beschreibung:
5-Chloro-1H-indole-2-carboxamide is an inhibitor of glycogen phosphorylase. It has been shown to reduce blood glucose levels in the liver and to inhibit hepatic glucose production. 5-Chloro-1H-indole-2-carboxamide has also been shown to increase blood glucose levels by stimulating glucagon release. This drug is used in the treatment of diabetes mellitus type 2.
