Produktinformation
- Benzoic Acid, 2-(Propylamino)-
2-(Propylamino)benzoic acid is a salt of the ammonium cation and 2-(propylamino)benzoic acid. It is a colorless solid that is soluble in water, methanol, and acetone. 2-Propylamino benzoic acid has shown to react with methionine aminopeptidase, an enzyme that breaks down proteins into amino acids. This reaction can be used as a marker for the presence of methionine aminopeptidase in cells or tissues. 2-Propylamino benzoic acid also reacts with ethylene, phosphine, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide to form phosphonium salts and phosphides.
