Beschreibung:The peptide 5-hydroxy-dpat (5HD) is a synthetic inhibitor of the proton pump, H+,K+-ATPase. It is a potent activator of the G protein coupled receptor, muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M1. 5HD is an excellent research tool for studying peptide interactions with receptors and ion channels. The hydrobromide salt form of 5HD has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of the proton pump in vivo and in vitro. The hydrochloride salt form has also been shown to be a potent inhibitor of the proton pump in vivo and in vitro with an IC50 of 0.3 μM. This product is suitable for use as a pharmacological reagent, cell biology research tool, or as a high purity life science reagent.
