• Beschreibung: 4-Amino-3-isopropyl-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor that targets adenosine and has been shown to have cytostatic activity against various human cancer cell lines in vitro. 4-Amino-3-isopropyl-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide was found to inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells by blocking the production of cyclic AMP, which is necessary for cellular proliferation. The heterocycle has also shown to be an effective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase I, II, III and IV. 4AIPC has not yet been tested on animals or humans, but it may be useful as a chemotherapeutic agent for treating prostate cancer.
