BC-DXI-843 is a novel small molecule that inhibits the cellular apoptosis pathway by binding to the heat shock protein 70 (Hsp70) and preventing it from interacting with other proteins. BC-DXI-843 has been shown to inhibit tumorigenesis in vivo and has potential as a therapeutic agent for cancer treatment. In vitro, BC-DXI-843 inhibited cell apoptosis induced by a variety of stimuli including chemotherapy drugs, ionizing radiation, or DNA damage. This compound also reduced the expression of proapoptotic genes and increased the expression of antiapoptotic genes. The efficacy of BC-DXI-843 was evaluated using an experimental mouse model, where it showed tumor xenograft inhibition activity in both subcutaneous and orthotopic models. These results were translated into human cancer cells in vitro and in vivo, showing significant tumor xenograft inhibition activity.
