Beschreibung:
4'-Bromo-3'-chloroacetanilide is an herbicide that inhibits microbial populations by inhibiting their growth. The chemical reacts with a number of enzymes, such as hydrolases and esterases, in the microbial cell. It also inhibits the synthesis of proteins in the bacterial cell. 4'-Bromo-3'-chloroacetanilide has been shown to be effective against a number of microorganisms, including fungi, bacteria and protozoa. This agent is used as an additive in commercial herbicides to control unwanted plants and has been shown to be toxic to mice at high doses.
