Beschreibung

Gerambullindiol is a prenyloxycoumarin glycoside that is found in the leaves of Glycine max. It has been shown to have antifungal activity against Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Trichophyton rubrum. Gerambullindiol also has insect antifeedant properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the feeding response of insects. This compound also has anti-inflammatory activities and inhibits the release of phenethylamine from rat brain tissue.
