• Beschreibung: Isosilybin A is a flavonolignan, which is a bioactive compound found in the seeds of the milk thistle plant, Silybum marianum. Derived from a natural source, it is known for its potent antioxidant properties and is part of the complex mixture of compounds known as silymarin. Its mode of action involves inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells through modulation of cell cycle regulators and induction of apoptosis. Isosilybin A also exhibits anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting key cytokines.
