The Syk inhibitor is a synthetic, non-peptide compound that inhibits the tyrosine kinase Syk. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of bowel disease and inflammation. The Syk Inhibitor binds to and blocks the activity of the enzyme by competitive inhibition, which leads to apoptosis.
