• Beschreibung: TEI-9648 is a potent and selective activator of the human TRPA1 ion channel. It is a high purity, water soluble ligand that has been shown to inhibit TRPA1-mediated responses in vitro. The IC50 value for TEI-9648 was found to be 0.5 nM and it has been shown to activate TRPA1 in cells at concentrations as low as 1 nM. TEI-9648 has also been shown to be an inhibitor of TRPA1 by binding competitively to the receptor's allosteric site. This inhibition prevents agonist-mediated activation of the receptor and blocks downstream signaling pathways such as those mediated by MAP kinases, phosphatidylinositol 3' kinase, protein kinase C, and cGMP production .
