Beschreibung

Bacitracin B3 is an analog of the antibiotic bacitracin that has shown promising anticancer properties. It acts as an inhibitor of protein kinases, which are enzymes involved in cell signaling pathways that regulate cell growth and division. Bacitracin B3 has been shown to induce apoptosis, or programmed cell death, in human cancer cells and inhibit tumor growth in Chinese hamsters. Additionally, this compound has demonstrated potent anti-proliferative activity against a range of cancer cell lines and may have potential as a novel anticancer agent. Bacitracin B3 can be isolated from urine samples and may offer a new avenue for developing kinase inhibitors for cancer therapy.
