Applications 1,3-Bis(diphenylphosphino)propane is a ligand that binds to a central metal ion (e.g. Gold) to create a coordination complex. One of its complexes, bis[chlorogold(I)] [DPPP(Au2Cl3)], displays cytotoxic activity against mice leukemia cells in vitro.
