Applications A mixture of Disodium Ethoxyoxidophosphanyl)formate (D493365(P)) and Disodium (Ethoxycarbonyl)phosphonate (D493645(M)).Disodium Ethoxyoxidophosphanyl)formate is an impurity in the synthesis of Foscarnet (F727400), inhibits viral DNA polymerase and reverse transcriptase. Foscarnet is used as an antiviral. Disodium (Ethoxycarbonyl)phosphonate acts as a reagent for the synthesis of esters of phosphonoformic acid and their antiherpes activity.
