Applications Ethyl acrylate is a compound commonly used in the manufacturing of polymers and copolymers in materials such as paints, plastics, latexes and textiles. Ethyl acrylate is a potentially toxic substance to humans (more specifically through inhalation), and is also known to induce gastric toxicity in rats.
