Applications Reacts specifically and rapidly with thiols to form mixed disulfides. PMTS covalently binds to cystein residues introduced into a specific second transmembrane site in the glycine receptor and g-aminobutyric acid type A receptor subunits and irreversibly enhances receptor function.
