Beschreibung:Applications Thiourea is used in biochemistry to increase the solubility (and resolution) of membrane proteins in two-dimensional electrophoresis. Thiourea is also used to treat thyrotoxicosis, a hypermetabolic clinical syndrome that is induced by multiple causes (Graves’ disease, hyperthyroidism, etc.).
