Anisol, también conocido como metoxibenceno, es un éter aromático caracterizado por la presencia de un grupo metoxi (-OCH₃) unido a un anillo de benceno. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of enzymes such as sodium salts, transport properties, absorption enhancer, and toll-like receptor.
