H-Leu-Gly-Pro-OH tifluoroacetic acid
CAS:
H-Leu-Gly-Pro-OH is a tripeptide that is found in the amino acid sequence of angiotensin. It is a potent inhibitor of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE), which is used to regulate blood pressure and the concentration of electrolytes in the body. H-Leu-Gly-Pro-OH tifluoroacetic acid has been shown to inhibit ACE activity, thereby lowering blood pressure and increasing excretion of sodium ions and potassium ions. Experiments have shown that H-Leu-Gly-Pro-OH tifluoroacetic acid inhibits ACE activity by binding to the N terminal amino group on the enzyme, preventing it from converting angiotensin I into angiotensin II. The C terminal glycine residue on the molecule can be eliminated as an N terminal fragment after hydrolysis with trypsin, or as a C terminal fragment after hydrolysis with papain.
Fórmula:C13H23N3O4•(CF3CO2H)xPureza:Min. 95%Peso molecular:285.34 g/mol
