Sulfato de geneticina, también conocido como G418, es un antibiótico aminoglucósido que se utiliza principalmente en biología molecular para la selección de células genéticamente modificadas. Es efectivo contra una amplia gama de bacterias y es particularmente conocido por su capacidad para inhibir la síntesis de proteínas al unirse a la subunidad ribosómica 30S.
