It has been shown to have potent in vivo efficacy against infectious diseases in combination with other drugs, such as monoclonal antibody and cyclic peptide. LY2510924 also inhibits the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting the production of growth factors and mesenchymal markers. This drug has been shown to bind to cxcr4, which is a receptor for chemokines CCL2, CCL7, and CCL12. LY2510924 does not have any effect on prostate cancer cell proliferation or migration in vitro assays.
