CAS:<p>PF 184 is an analog of serotonin that has been shown to have antiviral, anticancer, and anti-hepatitis activities. It has high potency as a selective inhibitor of human plasma serine proteases, such as trypsin and chymotrypsin. PF 184 has been shown to inhibit the activity of human protease in vitro. PF 184 also inhibits the in vitro proteolytic activity of recombinant staphylococcal proteinase A and influenza virus neuraminidase.
