Sulfato de hidrógeno de clopidogrel es un compuesto farmacéutico utilizado principalmente como agente antiplaquetario para prevenir coágulos sanguíneos en pacientes en riesgo de eventos cardiovasculares. Es un profármaco que requiere activación metabólica en el hígado para ejercer sus efectos terapéuticos. La sustancia se caracteriza por su capacidad para inhibir de forma irreversible el receptor P2Y12 en las plaquetas, reduciendo así la agregación plaquetaria. Sulfato de hidrógeno de clopidogrel se administra típicamente por vía oral y es conocido por su relativamente alta biodisponibilidad y larga vida media, lo que permite una dosificación una vez al día.
