:Griseofulvina
Descripción:
Griseofulvina es un medicamento antifúngico que se utiliza principalmente para tratar infecciones por dermatofitos, particularmente aquellas que afectan la piel, el cabello y las uñas. Se deriva del moho Penicillium griseofulvum y funciona inhibiendo la mitosis de las células fúngicas, evitando así el crecimiento y la reproducción de hongos. Griseofulvina se caracteriza por su estructura cristalina y se administra típicamente por vía oral. Es poco soluble en agua pero más soluble en disolventes orgánicos, lo que influye en su absorción y biodisponibilidad.
