Boc-L-valina, o tert-butoicocarbonilo-L-valina, es una forma protegida del aminoácido valina, comúnmente utilizada en la síntesis de péptidos y en química orgánica. Presenta un grupo tert-butoicocarbonilo (Boc), que actúa como un grupo protector para la funcionalidad amino, permitiendo reacciones selectivas sin interferir con el grupo amino. El compuesto es típicamente un sólido cristalino blanco a blanco sucio y es soluble en disolventes orgánicos como el diclorometano y el dimetilformamida, pero menos soluble en agua.
