Éter metil tert-butílico (TBME) es un compuesto orgánico clasificado como un éter, caracterizado por su estructura que incluye un grupo tert-butilo y un grupo metilo conectados por un átomo de oxígeno. Es un líquido incoloro y inflamable con un olor suave y agradable, lo que lo hace útil como disolvente en varios procesos químicos.
