The chemical structure of ethyl 3-isothiocyanatopropionate is cyclic, linear, pentapeptide, proteolytically, deacylation, chain, residue, peptidic. It is metabolically a non-competitive inhibitor of the enzyme histone deacetylase and an inhibitor of the enzymes that catalyze the formation of protein crosslinks.
