1-butil-3-metilimidazolio bis(trifluorometilsulfonil)imida, comúnmente conocido como [BMIM][Tf2N], es un líquido iónico caracterizado por su baja volatilidad, alta estabilidad térmica y excelentes propiedades de solvatación.
